The changes and the modern wars in Israes

Israel and Arabs have fought major modern wars. In one of them, Israel won control of the Arab area that neighbors them, for example the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Many of the Palestinian Arabs were left homeless, demanded their own country.
Steps toward peace started when the Egyptians defeated Israel and got the Sinai Peninsula back, and then Israel made peace treaties with Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994. In a 1993 agreement, the leaders of Palestine said that they would accept and work with Israel. So the Israelites in return, they agreed to give the control of the Gaza Strip and some areas of the West Bank.
Both of the sides were going to reach a permanent peace agreement within five years, but the problem was that, their many issues remained unsettled.
